Pre booked for a 1pm lunch today. Only people in the restaurant 5 of us . Owner and staff were pleasant and helpful, as we were asking questions of our vegetarian family members'meal expectations. What Paul K doesn't like about Chinese Cottage:
First time at this restaurant. Ceilings are very low, which can't be helped. First impressions were that it needed a refurb. Food seemed very expensive. Ordered set meals which were good and came out in a timely fashion. Atmosphere was very strange. Seemed the waiting staff didn't get on. Wouldn't go again, but this is a personal choice. Big menu, lots to choose. But got set seafood meal, share for 2 at the end. Best decision! Food was delicious and fresh. The portions were more than enough.
