"Lisa and Dave are so inviting that you could easily bask in their cosy, warm and friendly surroundings all day long. They truly create a very special place, somewhere that stays in your mind and sticks to your heart. Their food is fantastic. I find a small savoury selection is a true sign of a confident master chef. The patties are the very best I’ve tasted, the cheesey scone was delicious and the soup was packed with flavour! The cake selection is phenomenal even if you are full, take a mini selection of treats or a slice of cake home otherwise you will regret it! I fondly dream of a pattie, a good ol’mug of tea, whilst soaking up the warmth of love and soft reggae music that exudes from The Loft."

"The ladies running the pub yesterday (18/04/2022) were so polite! Each one of them was extremely polite and really made the pub a welcoming place to be. Usually closed on Mondays so their sign said but opened up for Easter Monday. Well done ladies, thanks for a lovely lunch x"

"My husband and I went for breakfast and we regularly go for an evening meal which we enjoy. Well what can I say the service was terrible, the cleaner seated us and bought our pot of tea. The waitress bought our breakfast over as I cut into the sausage I noticed it was cold and under cooked , I called her back over, she then replied do you want it well done then. She took both breakfasts away it came back the sausage were cooked but the rest of it was stone cold, lovely place but avoid the breakfast. Also the cleaner started to clean the windows with spray as we were sitting there trying to enjoy the sea view."

"Staying locally we decided to go out for something to eat! What a meal! I had the lamb Bhuna! Omg the Lamb melted in my mouth and shredded on my plate! Fabulous flavours with a little heat but not overpowering! If I lived locally I...would be eating here on a weekly basis!"
