"We were super hungry, but wanted great food nonetheless. Our guide recommended this place as the best Mexican food and boy was he right!!! I had the fish tacos and the bacon wrapped jalapeño. I ended up ordering two more fish tacos and another bacon wrapped jalapeño. My friend had the enchiladas and she said they were outstanding! I would highly recommend Taqueria El Milagro."

"There is a vegan escape on the menu, but they do not have the since. the chef made veggie tacos and a black bohnenburger for us, which was decent. long waiting times, but it is worth the live music and cool local scene."

"Since I wrote my first review of the Chili Pepper Café and little has changed. Oh Lupé 's enclosed the porch for more dining area but in general, the food 's still great and the service is still okay. They 've expanded their menu with the addition of 'al pastor ' and a few other goodies and it 's still the only place I stop for a meal when I 'm in town I live on Terlingua Ranch ."

"Came down from Houston to camp out near Big Bend. After our 3rd day of camping we decided to come into town to have a proper meal. Definitely what we needed. Their prices are fair, they also give you a good portion your hungry self will be satisfied. I ordered the 3 meat platter with brisket, sausage and ribs and could not finish it. But took it to go. Their beans and potato salad are great. Best part is they have AC! We came out during peak of summer (would not recommend lol). I have saved it in my spots so I can tell everyone about this place."

"First a warning about the location. the card that has yelp is not exactly. assumed, it is the same tivos, the restaurant is 12 miles north on 118. drive them north until they think there is no way that there is a restaurant before and then it is! the guacamole and chips were great. the enchiladas verdes had too much cheese for me, but that was my fault not to order them as I wanted them. the chile relleno that my man was good, but only filled with cheese. a bit boring."
