If you love anchovies on your pizza eat here. There were a few locals eating in this pizza restaurant and so we decided to give it a try. I had a pizza with anchovies, capers, and olives that was exceptionally strong flavoured I think because it had lots of anchovie flavoured olive oil on it; quite good but would have been better as an accent to something else rather than on it's own. I did my research in advance as we were travelling up the Adriatic coast and I wanted to stop somewhere good for lunch. I chose Marechiaro because it was clear that they knew how to make pizzas 'come si deve '. Long fermentation with a natural starter, deliciously digestible, and most importantly...delicious! The pizza did not disappoint, and in addition we found the staff to be incredibly friendly and personable. We would absolutely return, and would recommend this restaurant very highly!
First time here. Excellent service from the first moment! The boy who takes the orders and serves is very easy going relaxed and with a genuine smile! In the evening, without a reservation you have no chance... it means that the restaurant is also highly appreciated by many other customers!! Thank you, Marechiaro!
Lots of choice in the square. Wanted an outdoor table so chose here we weren’t disappointed. Bottle of Abruzxo rose, fried mozzarella 2 delicious pizzas was a total of €40. Efficient service too.
Abbiamo apprezzato la pizza, la salsiccia e i friarielli con scamorza sono stati una scoperta, almeno per noi. Anche il capriccioso era buono. La birra è in bottiglia ed è spesso preferibile alla spina. Il prezzo è onesto. Tavoli suggestivi sulla piazza.
Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante con 3 amici e abbiamo ordinato una pizza alle cozze, 1 porzione troppo salata e poco condita, e 3 primi di pasta ai frutti di mare eccezionali, oltre a 1 buon fritto. Abbiamo bevuto 2 bottiglie d'acqua e preso un caffè. Il personale è stato cordiale e gentile e alla fine del pasto ci hanno offerto una deliziosa crema al pistacchio. Consigliato!
