i love the look and feel of the restaurant and the staff is great, but the food leaves a LOT to be desired. i got the Gumbo, trusting that with “gumbo” in the restaurant’s name that it would be tasty. big mistake. i should have just tried the drunken chicken instead. the gumbo is awful. absolutely no depth to the flavor at all and it’s severely under seasoned. there was also only sausage in it when i was expecting mo... Amazing food! We have never experienced a gumbo/Creole concentrated restaurant. The staff was great! They allowed us a small taste test to determine what we would enjoy.
