You can't go wrong with Shawarma on the Run. It is a go-to in our house and we have never once been disappointed! Worth every penny. I usually get the Gyro platter, while the husband leans towards the chicken shawarma platter. This place is the best! Don't forget to throw in some Baklava for your sweet tooth. "My meal here was so delicious! Everything was sooo tasteful and packed with spices, and tasted very fresh, a welcome branch from the usual New Orleans tariff. Our server was very knowledgeable and pointed to any vegan option in the menu (and there was a lot). Although prices are somewhat steep, everything is divided so if you order correctly, it is not so bad. The hummus with grilled eggplant and fresh pita was delicious. The Shakshouka without fried egg was also amazing. Be careful! The baba ganoush has acid cream! So sad! The place is clean and cute and it is located on the magazine street that is really fun to go around! Definitely worth a visit!"
