Den Engel is a real gem in Tervuren. Typical brasserie food with a very nice beer menu. The ambience is where it’s at! A little dark with wood and iron decor and old captains chairs or benches. A wonderful place to duck in and escape the rain or have a leisurely meal. Service can be slow, sometimes altogether absent (after food is delivered) but a quick walk up to the bar will rectify that. Highly recommended! I only took a photo of the small coffee cup as we finished the food so quickly (no time for other photos)! Delicious! Good music too!

Excellent dishes. Good prices and fast service. The place is also very cosy. This is why it is always so popular. It is highly recommended!

Cost atmosphere, great staff. You are made to feel welcome immediately. The decor is also very quirky in a positive way, I would recommend a drink or ten! ;
