Visited here with family recently for Sunday lunch. Luckily we had booked a table, as it was so busy they were turning people away !!! Nice welcoming feel to the pub staff were very friendly. Disappointing Sunday lunch: (had Sunday roast) the portion was huge. The beef was sinewy and the roast potatoes and parsnips were undercooked. there was a huge amount of stodgy stuffing and the food was so highly stacked on the plate it made the already under cooked potatoes even less appealing . very disappointing although the carrots and Yorkshire pudding were good.
