Lovely atmosphere, got us fitted in considering it's Easter Sunday. Carvery was lovely, very generous meat portions too. Fresh veg, loads to choose from. My partner had the burger and said it was one of the best burgers he has had! he is extremely fussy, so this speaks volumes from him. we used to eat regularly at the WD after work , so we thought we would give it a try after a couple of years eating elsewhere but this will probably be our last visit. Spacious with different areas to choose from to sit and have a drink or eat, large garden with activity area, such friendly and helpful staff, fantastic service, fantastic yummy food, family animal friendly, would go back in a flash; highly recommended!
My partner and I recently visited wyke down pub for a casual Sunday lunch, and that’s exactly what we received. Food was amazing (compliments to the chef) service was great and all round simply a very good pub since new management.
Was delighted to see this pub has reopen and what a difference . The food was excellent(i had the lasangua and my girlfreind had the ribs) and the service has been taken to another level . Very impressed

Haven’t eaten so cant review food, have been a regular for a couple of years and had regularly eaten here until the pub sadly closed earlier this year, not a local friendly pub anymore, bar stools have gone so feel unwelcome to have a beer...
