"Yummy! Do not let the exterior of the small, rustic building stop you from eating at Mr D's BBQ. The ribs were delicious and fleshy. Potato salad and beans were also delicious. You didn't have a brisket today, so Nabeby has a lot of ribs and he wasn't disappointed."

"While in the area overnight, we decided to try Gusanos Chicago-style deep dish pizza. We ordered it as take out because of all the Covid-19 mess. Took it back to our room and it was yummmmy!!! This was the deluxe and the mix and quantity of meats was a perfect combination. The crust also had a great taste. This was the 9” pizza and it was plenty for 2 adults."

"What a delicious surprise. You walk in and order at the counter then they bring it to you at your table. The staff was friendly. Made suggestions. We both started with gumbo. It was a little thin but had a good flavor and lots of chicken. I got the Catfish Acadiana. The shrimp etoufee on top was so so so so good. Sadly the dirty rice was meh and the catfish, while it was a generous portion, was just good, not great. Same with hubs shrimp. Good, not great. The hushpuppies were delightful! Great flavor and cooked perfectly. The Cajun mac n cheese was old school Velveeta mac n cheese with a kick. Yumm! Definitely will go back when we are in the mood for Cajun, though."

"Lady at the bar was very sweet. They were very engaging with guests. Wide selection of beverages and a variety of seating made for a relaxing atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the Philly Cheese Steak! Reasonably priced for great food and good service."
