"The locals give Feras Rave reviews, so after traveling around the area several times we gave it a try for an early dinner. We are not usually fans of Italian cuisine, but that was a solid dinner and good service. Very quiet ambience also for our early being. We ordered wine with dinner and it was on average - good with what we ordered. I had the Pasta Sampler plate, and each selection was good with a rich, tasteful sauce. What was most unforgettable was the bread. WOW! Fresh, homemade and delicious. It's just trying to return for the bread. Gainsville has limited possibilities, and this is a good dinner option."

"Easily 5 stars. The Patio Downtown takes pride in their food! Ricky absolutely kills it in the kitchen and makes everything homemade. I suggest trying the salsa, wings, and pizza. I love food and this is seriously great food. Laura handles the front of the house flawlessly and provides excellent service. If you pass through or live in Gainesville the Patio Downtown should be your priority. Great job you two and great restaurant!"

"It’s been a long time since I had food this bad. I think I’m used to a buffet in Vegas being good so I expected similar here. My SO is all about the cheap food in large quantities but even he couldn’t get with it. We went at around 6pm on a Tuesday. There was a line to get in. The thing I’m most happy about was that it was free. My feelings would have been severely hurt had I paid $25pp for that. It’s not inedible, but 100% not enjoyable. There wasn’t a single item that either of us put on our plates that was redeeming. I said there was ZERO love in the preparation of any of that food."
