hantverk is found right up in my top 3 restaurants in the thanet area eating is created and delivered with love and passion in charming environment I would recommend to anyone who likes fish, but also for those who just like an honest delicious menu if someone wanted me to be a special meal I would choose h f keep what you do 5star View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hantverk Found:
We went with our 6 year old who is an ambitious eater...think braised squid and black rice. I ordered what I wouldn't normally go for and was glad I did. Best crab cakes I've ever had. Good dressed crab and nice selection of good quality drinks. View all feedback.
We had a lovely time at Hantverk. Service was prompt and yummy and the lady at front of house gave us some great recommendations of what to do in Margate. Highly recommend
I found the staff friendly and the service was good. The food was excellent but I was very disappointed that I was sitting on a stool facing a wall. This did adversely affect my dining experience. I would have appreciated being warned in advance that this was the sitting arrangement.
Great food. Tiny tables. Too cramped. You get rather too close to your neighbours for it to be totally enjoyable ...
Had the halibut, it tasted amazing the outside did) as it wasn't cooked in the middle, they re-did it and it still wasn't cooked, I just ate round it. I got a free coffee and Armagnac. Paid for the fish though. Watch out for the crazy red prawn as well!
Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Every time I go to this restaurant I am always extremely pleased with the great quality food on a constantly changing menu and an extensive wine list. It is so worth the visit if you are serious about food.
