Great atmosphere, food, and drink. Perfect place to grab dinner before going to a concert or show in the theater district. I ordered the grouper and a glass of wine. The grouper was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The only negative part of the experience was lack of staffing when I arrived there was only one waitress working the entire area and no one at the hostess stand. We've been here for dinner several times over the last couple of years, mostly going before concerts or plays nearby. In the beginning, the quality of the food was high. On this last visit there had been a noticeable decline in both the food and the service. Hopefully they can get back on track. Until then, if I go back, I'll probably stick to a sandwich. I ordered food for delivery from Pur Noire winery across the street. I enjoyed the BBQ chicken pizza, especially with the jalapeños.
Pretty abysmal when your pre-dinner cocktails arrive after your food. It wasn't as if the restaurant was that busy. The 3 drinks we ordered for our party of 4 all arrived separately around 30-40 minutes after we placed our order.
What an amazing place! One of the best chocolate chip cookies and iced matcha lattes I've ever had. I also got a chance to talk to one of the bakers there and they shared that they use water from France to create the most authentic pastries, particularly the croissants. I will definitely be back. Get the chocolate chip cookies now!It's also just a beautiful place to be.
