"Went with a party of 8. I personally thought the baby back ribs were amazing, but I found the pulled pork dry and the brisket to be very fatty. The only other person that got the brisket agreed that it was quite fatty. The rest of the party did enjoy the pulled pork though. The mac and cheese, the sweet potato fries and the normal fries were all really good as well.The service was good, even though they were very busy, and the staff just made you feel at home. We did have to wait about 20 minutes for our food but it was well worth the wait. I would come back and give the pull pork and the brisket a second chance, but if I could only order 1 item it would be the baby back ribs."

"Food was very good, we started with fried pickles since they are my son's favorite. They were super crunchy with a great flavor. A jalapeno ranch dipping sauce came with them and it was spot on. I had the fried catfish with fries and mixed vegetables. The mixed vegetables were amazing. The fries were good but couldn't match the veggies. My son had the ribeye cooked medium rare and was very happy with it. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back again."

"Stopped for lunch after visiting the adjacent plantation. I was disappointed. Prices were quite high, the catfish had been fried in oil that wasn't hot enough, making them too greasy, but the waitress was nice. Hushpuppies were over-cooked. The place has a homey atmosphere, but the cook must have had a bad day. It draws a large crowd of plantation visitors, but they could do really well if they improved the cooking quality to match the prices.Parking: Limited parking places"
