"I was headed to a restaurant in town that was closed for some reason when I arrived. So I stumbled on the Alumni Grill and decided to give him a shot. The outside of the company is a little misleading as if you are in the Restaraunt, there are actually living people enjoy their meals, color and decoration inside, and smiling staff. I ordered the Alumni Burger and it was really good. I also had a chocolate shake (which I considered more malt) that was particularly delicious. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would return here. I felt that the food waiting period was a little long, but that can be a little tolerated when the food is right."

"We had a baseball tournament Thibodeaux. We heard great things about big mikes so before we left the field I called to do a reservation which they don’t do reservations. I told the lady in the phone we had 15 people and would be there around 2:30. She then advised me they was not busy and we would not have a long wait , we arrived and was told they could not put tables together even though they had multiple tables available in the same area , That could have been easily out together , they were very rude and just a bad experience, if you have a group of 5 or more go else where, we went to Rotolos best place hands down"

"I went there today 8/16/2022 Around 3pm, we?ll after the lunch rush, there was barely anyone dining, maybe two tables literally and it took 45 minutes for our take out order, fried pickles, crab dip, Tburger and fried green tomatoes. Then we realized that our food was out and on the counter for most of that time, but the kitchen staff didn?t communicate that to the server. They were too busy carrying on about things customers shouldn?t hear. The server Nicole was notObservant at all! I tipped her on a to go order, you would think she could have at least made sure the order was correct, nope. The order was incorrect, they gave me the dip with NO crab after charging me for the correct one. Every singlething except my sons TBurger meal was over cooked and not enjoyable! The food is too expensive and the history of the place we love and come here for comfort food, what we did NOT receive today was Anything comforting!!! The pickles were soover cooked you cannot even taste pickle at all it?s like fried batter chips, disgusting. No one?s oil in the fry taste so goo that a customer wants to eat or drink it. I gave this experience a 1 star, and it?s because they deserved thisrating, and then some."
