Rendezvous - Thibodaux

What sheldon Loupe likes about Rendezvous:
Friday lunch buffet was great. Good variety of soups. Fried seafood was excellent. However the white beans were brown and not very appetizing. Update.....one year later, total reversal! Friday lunch buffet was awful. Shrimp and crawfish in stews were mushy. Crawfish stew had muddy taste, probably not La. crawfish. Gumbo and jambalaya had strange taste. Not near the quality of food. What Bernadee Pitre doesn't like about Rendezvous:
Took about 10 minutes to get seated .. They were not that busy !! Ate the breakfast buffet.. food was cold, grits could be cut with a fork biscuit gravy also .. service was slow!! Table next to us had issues with their order off the menu He wanted a steak was told they were out.. he ordered a hamburger steak and did not get his onions and mushrooms !!
