"Recommended by a family member who has had a few takeaways, so we decided to sit in while visiting. After a few illnesses and cancelled bookings we eventually made it. "Called in here today after a long walk, initially just for a drink but stayed for Sunday lunch and it was outstanding. The owners were friendly, chatty and very helpful. "Called at this place for a coffee and bite to eat. Ordered a cappuccino and Bacon, Brie and Chutney Ciabatta, I think it was. Coffee lovely and smooth, not quite hot enough for my liking. My Ciabatta served with a bit of salad, it was very, very tasty. My only gripe was that the bacon had too much fat on for my liking it could have done with being trimmed. Service was prompt by friendly, nicely presented staff. It had some lovely music playing, the decor was appealing and overall had a pleasant atmosphere. I paid circa £10 which was very good. Definitely a place worth a return visit."

"This pub is in a very handy location. The food was pretty good and plenty of options on the menu. One member of our party asked for Gammon, they said they didn’t have it. So he asked for Haddock and Chips as a alternative but they also didn’t have that he had to settle for a Indian Curry. They have good kids options which is great for families."
