"If I had to choose what my last meal on earth would be, it would be pizza from La Piovra. I have never tasted pizza so incredible. My partner and I are there basically every week. Really friendly staff too! The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because the lighting in there is WAY too bright. It needs yellow light not white light. It’s very uncomfortable for the eyes and I’ve witnessed a few people complaining to the staff about it during all the times I’ve been there. Please can something be done? We love sitting down and eating but after an hour we just can’t do the bright lighting anymore."

"Spacious dining area, tables are not forced into one another. Waiters are professional, friendly and attentive.<br/ <br/ The Kingklip was fresh fresh fresh! Amazing for Gauteng! Fresh fish is what gives them 5 stars vs 4.<br/ Winelist is good, had a bottle of Springfield Miss Lucy. They also know how to serve espresso, and 1920 Portuguese brandy. Next time I will try the sushi, it looked so amazing.<br/ <br/ I have eaten here 4-5 times in the past year, never had a bad meal, always a good experience. Awesome smoking section, the best I have seen in in SA."

"It was a very amazing restaurant to be in. Very good service,the waiters were very friendly and honest. They would check in on us regularly to make sure we are alright and still sorted. The food was the best Amazing steak ,very tender and well made. Definitely going back soon. The cocktails are great too"
