"Best catfish place I've been to in a while! Very confortable, roomy dinning areas. One section is a glassed in area, didn't go in there but all other areas looked very clean and well maintained and upkept. Very nice friendly staff. Good location. I could tell it had to be great because of the full parking lot on a Saturday before 12:00! Well worth the and stop! I was still full at dinner! Had catfish, fried oysters, fries, hush puppies and cole slaw. Cole slaw comes with meal as a salad does with a meal at most other restaurants. Huge bowl! And it is the bomb! Made fresh on site, we were told by our server! Very finely chopped. I'd compare it very closely to KFC's as far as taste goes. Highly recommend! Friend had gumbo and shrimp and grits! YUMMMM! Yes, had to taste test! Wish there were a David's in Mobile! Or is there?!? Good eats, people! Get it!! P.S. Just looked, there is a location in Spanish Ft, Milton, Fl. and one other place in south AL. Yeaaaa!! There is a location here in Mobile, by the way! Forgot to mention that when I found out!"

"When I write about restaurants that I have visited, I take into consideration just what kind of restaurant it is. In this case, since it is a Burger King, there just isn't very much to say. We all know what food they are supposed to be making, we all know what recipes are going to be used, and we go into these restaurants because they provide the same thing across the board, from town to town, state to state. So realistically what we evaluate when we look at these places is whether or not they maintain the standard (which means an average score), whether they provided some sort of exemplary service (this one was just normal service), and whether they provided horrible service (again, just normal service). So really, it was just a standard hum-drum experience at a Burger King, just like every other one scattered around the nation."

"In the midst of a move and with limited pizza options in Thomasville, Alabama, I found myself at Pizza Hut, tasked with feeding seven hungry movers. The staff at this Pizza Hut location deserve commendation for their commendable efforts and teamwork. Despite the challenges they faced, they were doing their utmost to ensure all customers were served promptly and efficiently. However, it was evident that their systems were not supporting their efforts adequately. A notable incident involved a lady from a local school who was accustomed to a certain price for their pizzas. Due to a special offer, the computer was not recognizing the usual price, leading to confusion and frustration. Despite multiple explanations and demonstrations by the staff, the customer remained adamant about obtaining the price she had in mind, causing a delay for other customers with large orders. A young man from the team was particularly patient and gracious in handling the situation. He tried numerous times to calm the lady and ensure her satisfaction. It is a reminder that while you can't please everyone, good customer service is about trying your best to do so. However, from the incident, it is clear that part of the problem stemmed from their systems. It would be beneficial for both the staff and customers if this is addressed promptly to avoid similar issues in the future. Despite the hiccup, I can't fault the staff's hard work and dedication amidst adversity."
