Closed during winter season, this refuge can only be reached after a steep hike, between 90 min and 2h30. Elevation gain is 800m/ 2400 ft. From there one gets a fantastic view over Mt Blanc , Aravis range to the East and very impressive Tournette to the South. Since the restaurant was closed, we enjoyed our picnic outside. On the way down we found mountain goats called ibex or "bouquetins" in french read more.

The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and be served in beautiful weather.
