First class cafe. The girls were so friendly and worked tirelessly to look after everyone. Did a motorbike run from Glasgow to get some lunch and ended up in Thornhill. Glad we did. "This was just wonderful in every way. A meal which completely outdid recent visit to Tom Kitchen restaurant in Edinburgh in every way. Beautiful food. Wonderful care very personal. Unobtrusive. Honest honest. And food sourced and grown locally. I was encouraged to run my finger round the plate to pick up the last drops of sauce. 'Feel at home '. So very relaxing. The four of us dining just loved it. Not cheap but excellent quality and value for money. Worth every penny and pound! Shall return!"

"It is fantastic to find such an excellent restaurant, not too far from where we live, which offers a high quality menu with high quality food. really good. the table service was used what they would find in an expensive city restaurant with a hand behind the back where eating is served. yes, the whole environment is much more casual than city restaurants, but for me small touches make such a difference. it took about 45 minutes to get there, but who cares? if they find the good somewhere, the trip is worth it! it was hot, very attractive on the plate, and full of taste. prices, very good."
