Used My Zaidy's for catering on my last visit to Toronto. I ordered a large-size platter of salads: egg salad, tuna salad, hummus, salmon salad and cream cheese and 2 trays of assorted sushi rolls. If one shouldn't judge a book by its cover perhaps, by contrast, a name of a restaurant may be good indicator of what to stick to. In a rush during a shopping trip I opted for their falafel. This is not nearly in the same class as Tov Li. Falafel balls were ok and toppings, a critical factor for this dish, were limited and mundane. Yet their price wasn't any less! read more.
