"This is a hidden gem, way off the beaten track in the Daintree, we found parking adequate and if we had needed to stay there were plenty of campsites and rooms available.There was an extensive selection of beverages in the bar and the luncheon menu was adequate.What we did fin inadequate was the level of service with both the bistro staff and the bar stuff uninterested in us and very lacklustre, the bistro staff preferred to chat amongst themselves rather that serve us and the bar staff chose to ignore us first then offered no help or advice on drink selection or serving sizes. As any traveller in Australia knows, drink sized vary state to state.Aside from that, after we had negotiated the customer service landmine, the food was good and the drinks tasty and refreshing.The place looks like it would be worth a visit for dinner and after dinner entertainment."
