Hard to evaluate could be a free day, but the majority was good. Had the 3 meat combination. Her tri-tip, pork ribs and spicy chicken got a beef on the side. Chicken was fantastic and this sauce was just the right amount of kick. Tender and sharp. Pork ribs were tender and the spices were perfect. Didn't even need sauce. Tri-Tip was fantastic delicate tasteful type of dry but with her bbq sauce it was good. The beef... View all feedback.
What jfinnnnnnnnnn doesn't like about Thousand Oaks Meat Locker:
Pork ribs extremely tough. There are NOT baby-back ribs. Perhaps the worst I've ever had. Hot link sausage had an unpleasant flavor. Won't order from here again. View all feedback.
Mmmmm Ttri Tip... Delicious tri tip sandwich, great atmosphere, no frills and down to business.
Solid BBQ. A great BBQ joint with really good sandwiches. Tri tip sandwich is the best.
The best is unquestionably Meatlocker. There is truly no need for sauce because the beef and pork ribs are so good. Till 5:00 p.m., they are open. There is only outside seating, so there isn't a lot of it, but if you want outstanding BBQ, this is the one!
The food here is great, and so affordably priced. The Meat Locker makes every other barbecue joint I've been to in California look like a garbage can.Food: 5/5
I decided to give this place a try but won’t be back. I was hoping for some juicy BBQ but the meats were dry. The sides are ok.
