"I had moved to Thun just two days before I went to this bar, for my husband's birthday. It was more than I could have expected. The cocktails are unbelievably beautiful as wad the venue. The bartenders know every bar drink under the sun and their cocktails are amazing. I ordered the French martini, off-menu, and it was the best I have ever had. The venue has subtle lighting, comfy chairs and a back room that apparently is home to live music. I can't wait to go back!"

"They have gedminated here several times and eating is always good. the service is typically friendly and competent, and I had only a bad experience (last night) the wrong order was delivered, and when I asked the server about it, it did not offer to...correct it, and instead responded to unfriendly wise. After working in the service industry before, I can understand that errors happen. the incompatibility in the service sector is not acceptable."

"At the beginning we went without reservation pure and thanking the restaurant was able to put us! we tried the margarita pizza, which was amazing to say the least, the steak was delicious, but the ravioli could have been better, the mixture did not go so well with the mix of seafood on it. the tiramisu was excellent! I loved eating every piece of dessert! the prices are at the upper end, but this is expected in view of the dishes and atmosphere of the restaurant. the personal is also pleasant."

"We've been going to this restaurant at Blapbach for many years, run by the Hofer family. I can't be entirely without bias as my opinion is formed by many years of holiday memories, but I have eaten here very happily in the past and in the last year too. They serve good solid Bernese food, with lots of varieties of sausages and, of course, the excellent rosti which I can't recommend enough: a cake of melting grated potato crisped in butter. Massive meringues and ice cream confections and the Blapbach coffee (with schnapps and whipped cream) finish off the meal. Park up, go for a walk in the beautiful Emmental, and enjoy the restaurant. Did I mention the view? You get to experience the best of the crinkling landscape that makes the Emmental so special."

"We were on a beautiful Sunday before 18.00 a.m. to visit fähribeizli and could therefore only order from the afternoon menu. the dishes we ordered (beftar and cooksalat) were impeccable with regard to quality, taste and quantity. the whiskey was not served at the tartar, but that didn't bother me. the sharpness of the planer could be regulated with chili oil itself. the salat was not spectacular, but well made and delicious. the speciality of fähribeizli is the location directly at the aare. in the summer they can observe the countless boats and merciful from the terrace. the interior of the restaurant is new and modern, but a bit kart. the service was fast and friendly despite much operation. we will return for a beautiful walk on the aare in the beizli."
