Drove 10 hours to get to Thunder Bay and stayed at the Days Inn. As we drove in , we noticed the 5 Forks restaurant immediately next to the hotel. It said fine dining and we were hungry.Great ambiance in restaurant and the service was great. Their is a bar and dining area. I ordered the steak with garlic mash and onion pieces. Stopped here for a late snack after a day on the road. Walked over from the Days Inn next door, which was convenient. The staff was very friendly, very nice. The bacon scallops were a little fishy tasting, the riblets were a little dry. But the staff was great, and the drinks were great. read more.

Coming from Toronto I think our standards are very high. This place was next to our hotel so easy to walk over. The decor and service was decent. Menu was good....

"Awesome restaurant experience with delicious and fantastic Italian dishes. Our server, Trevor, was absolutely amazing and helped to space out/organize our dining experience perfectly. We ordered the arancini to start followed by the blood orange salad. Both were unreal! For our mains we ordered the Dry aged bistecca and the Fettucinne alla Giorg. Truly unbelievable. We finished with a chocolate Budino and pistachio/dark chocolate cannolis. The experience was by far the most upscale and fine dining in Thunder Bay by far. The food and service were truly awe inspiring thank you Trevor and la squadra di cucina"

"Had a cheese burger with a small caesar salad here today. The burger is big, juicy and so delicious. The salad came with garlic toast and the best caesar sauce ever. Such a tasty meal and very filling. Fair price and great food. Highly recommended. Note: that the food is for take out only."
