Before we left for our trip a friend of mine that grew up in Thunder Bay told us we had to go the Nucci's for persians. Persians are similar to a cinnamon bun with a pink icing. We visited Nucci's are our way to Kakabeka Falls to pick up a sandwich and a persian for for our picnic at the falls. We called ahead to order Persians and asked for them to be packed to take on airplane. Although the icing was separate, they gave us the buns in an open-faced 1/2 box in a plastic bag. We expressed concern that the buns would get squished in luggage and asked for another 1/2 box for the top, and were answered with a very curt "no, we don't have any more boxes".
