"I just had breakfast at the restaurant. There is a buffet with all kinds of things, a lot of choice, but there is a lot just not so great. It's also quite expensive. Stollen was really bad, maybe there is no good flour in Indonesia? The espresso is very good. I would still improve the service. I sat there and beside me a waiter, but I'd probably be sitting there today. Then I got my espresso at the very nice lady at the buffet. Yesterday Tiramisu cake, today Black Forest cake. Buh just tastes zero. Simple cream cake no longer and no less."

"Incredible, freshly cooked food with a beautiful view of Lake Toba. A family run and friendly restaurant not to be missed during a visit to Samosir. The restaurant area was well looked after with pretty plants. The menu was interesting and varied including Indonesian, Batak and Western food. Highly recommend the Ikan Naneura requires ordering 8 hours in advance but so worth swinging by to order in the morning for a memorable evening meal!"
