The same with meal, ordered meal and did not recommend that they were from meal until after each meal. The food that arrived was best marginal. Flavors were missing.
One of the classic Asadores, barbecues with good Argentine meat. Appropriate prices, friendly staff and good quality. Directly opposite the fruit market.
My wife and I stayed here for (Monday) lunch on a day tour through Tigre. This is the type of hole in the wall space that is characteristic for Argentina – fantastic cuts of meat, reasonable prices and relaxed yet friendly service. We had a steak, combined with “provencal” French pommes and a half bottle of red wine. All were excellent! We only wish we could have come back more – the open grill had chorizo, pollen and more steak, which all looked very delicious. This was located directly on the edge of Puerto des Frutas, and we would definitely recommend it for others who are in the area for lunch.
I had lunch here at the visit of El Tigre Delta. Fabulous Location, a step of everything, although NOT IN THE MIDDLE of everything like El Tigre can be quite full!! Beautiful, cozy ambience. Inside, outside seat. Delicious Parrillada, excellent service, very affordable prices. I recommend Los Islen~os!!!
Had lunch here the other day while on a day trip out to Tigre Delta. Highly recommend, was one of the better meals I've had while in Buenos Aires. Reasonable prices (quarter chicken for 60 pesos! and they have his huge oven/grill to cook their meats. Also had the tortilla papa which was great and the provolone cheese w bacon and tomato. Many locals seem to eat here as well as tourists. If you're in the puerto Frutos area this is a good place to go w lots of items on the menu. Also service was very friendly and good (but I did notice they charged me 24 pesos for water when i ordered soda which is 22 but didn't feel like arguing over 2 pesos
