This restaurant in an historic mansion in the Tigre, Argentina, is a real gem. It has lovely service, gourmet delights, a beautiful picturesque setting just across from a park and the river in a lush, green setting. You can eat indoors and out under canvas canopies in the garden and enjoy spectacular food and views all at the same time. What User doesn't like about Villa Julia:
Some friends of mine brought me here as they knew the place. The restaurant is very nice, with a welcoming garden and atmosphere inside. The food unfortunately was not good at all. I ordered "matambre de cerdo con verduras" (pork slices with vegetables) but the meat was quite hard to chew. Dessert was really nothing special (flan casero). I would not come back again.
