On the right the highway next to the petrol station, it is certainly convenient. The menu is quite plentiful, with regional and Argentine favorites. The food is good, not fantastic, but you can have a satisfying meal. View all feedback.

"We went to El Nuevo Progreso with relatively high expectations on account of all the glowing TA reviews. (Presumably such high reviews have to do with the limited offerings in Tilcara. The restaurant itself and its location are quite nice. It is an old house with high ceilings, located in a corner facing a plaza. The service is attentive and the presentation of the dishes is immaculate. (They also make the best Negroni in Jujuy . However, the execution of the food is just not there; maybe we visited on bad night, but it wasn’t as good as we were expecting. (Not necessarily bad, but certainly not memorable. Because it is a small restaurant and highly ranked in TA, it gets booked up quickly. Therefore, if you want to eat here do make a reservation in advance."
