Hello, I’m the person who wrote a review a couple of weeks ago, before October 23. I just wanted to say that my meal was absolutely fantastic! I ordered one of the evening specials, the blackened Tusk fish fillet with lime bechamel sauce. It was a generous portion—definitely not the small 200g servings you often get with salmon. What User doesn't like about Westside Tavern:
Went there new years eve to be met with a barman that was rude,arragant and more interested in his hourly wage I would of spent plenty but felt like I wasn't welcome to the point of wanting to ask him into the parking lot. I have made it my new years resolution not to go here as better service is offered on the gutter. View all feedback.
We decided to eat here for lunch after we heard about the grapes that they serve great meals. I bought a chicken parma with salad and my wife had Thai beef salad. To be honest The Parma was the best I had in years and the salad was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, Thai salad needed a little more dressing as my wife said it was a bit dry. The tavern itself is ok, but it lacks character.

Good for a fast meal. Food was just OK. Staff friendly
Bistro is always closed, not operating. Rooms are great but are not serviced or replenished during a stay.
