Legendary basic chipper in Limerick. Not much on the menu but it's busy and the chips are always freshly fried when you get them. Obligatory visit whenever visiting family in Limerick. Never dissapointed. read more.

What diste0 doesn't like about Donkey Fords:
Wanted to eat fish and chips. Especially since Limerick is not far from the ocean, I expected fresh battered fish. Instead I received an ultra slim slice of a frozen fish block with batter on both sides thicker than the fish itself. Clearly industrially made and of the cheapest kind. Completely inacceptable. Could have done that better and cheaper at home. The fries were acceptable. read more.
