"Business brought us to Carrot River on Friday (May 5) and hunger brought us to Tisdale on our way home to Saskatoon on Saturday.Checked out Trip Advisor (my go-to spot for restaurants while travelling). Read some great reviews on TA and made the decision to stop here for a late lunch.Special of the day was a Cuban sandwich and a bowl of Coconut Curry Soup. What a great combination. Soup was flavorful and sandwich robust.Highly recommend this spot."

"We have been waiting fire. Ribs to reopen and they finally have. Great location in a traditional restaurant spot. The food was good but the service could use a tweak. Prices are a little higher than what we are used to in Tisdale but if quality counts (which it obviously does) then so be it. All in all welcome back Mr. Ribs. Yes I will eat here again.!"

"I went into subway in Tisdale on Dec29 2023. The worker was a woman and incredibly rude.I asked for extra lettuce and she said she would have to charge me extra. I said that is not a thing because I always get extra lettuce and have never been charged extra. She got very rude and started screaming and became verbally aggressive. Horrible customer service."

"We often go to Gus' for lunch as well as supper. The food selection is good , staff very friendly , service is prompt and the food is good. It is a very busy restaurant and in spite of this we have always left feeling we hadn't been neglected at all. I would recommend this restaurant to friends as well as visitors to our beautiful little town.,.,"

"Pizza at a donut shop? Only in Newfoundland. Dry. Salty. Pathetic really. We tossed in in the garbage and looked for another spot. None so we kept driving. Irving Big Stop, The place smelled like urine."

"We did not actually eat in but did do take out so this revue is strictly about the food and not the service. I am very fond of Chinese food and have dined in numerous Chinese restaurants across Canada, the US and in Europe. I...have tasted delicious dishes and many not so great, whether the restaurant was high end or not so high end. It was a very pleasant surprise to find such good Chinese dishes in a small town in Saskatchewan. Nothing fancy about the establishment as I noted when I picked up the boxes of various menu items we had ordered. I would have been happy with just average food considering the part of the country that I was in but what a wonderful surprise when we dug into the various dishes. Large shrimp, tender chicken, no gristle on any of the meat dishes. Delicious sauces and just the right amount of spices. One dish I always order is Singapore noodles as it is my favorite dish and one that I can easily compare from one restaurant to another. Again, it was very well prepared with just the right amount of curry. I definitely recommend this restaurant for the food alone. I have no comments on the service."
