"Business brought us to Carrot River on Friday (May 5) and hunger brought us to Tisdale on our way home to Saskatoon on Saturday.Checked out Trip Advisor (my go-to spot for restaurants while travelling). Read some great reviews on TA and made the decision to stop here for a late lunch.Special of the day was a Cuban sandwich and a bowl of Coconut Curry Soup. What a great combination. Soup was flavorful and sandwich robust.Highly recommend this spot."

"I recently went over to Mr. Ribs after probably over a decade of absence from Tisdale. I didn't realize that I missed it when I paid a visit with my mother. I ordered a type of Greek wrap which I cannot remember the name of, but the name doesn't matter when it tasted so delicious. I recommend a visit on your lunch break or for supper."

"I like to go to Subway every once in while to grab a good sandwich and I did so too in Tisdale. It is an average Subway branch, but unfortunately the food was below average. Lettuce and cucumbers were dry and it was clearly visible that they were not fresh. I also had a soup, but that was good. The Subway slogan "Eat Fresh" is not true for this place."
