We really enjoyed our day at Las Gaviotas in Mismaloya. We sat on the beach and ordered drinks and ceviche. There were mariachis roaming about so we got to hear good festive music while people watching and getting some sun! I also really liked the mural inside for the movie "The Night of the Iguanas" which was filmed on the hill next to where the restaurant is located. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Las Gaviotas:
Like most beaches near Vallarta, Mismaloya has hucksters galore. Part of the deal. We got a couple of glasses of wine which came with ice. When you took the ice out it not even half a pour. We split a ceviche which was on of the best I've had on this trip (1 month). My wife got a beer ice again. When the check came it had a 15% service charge tacked on. We hung out here and used the beach chairs. There was a minimum $300 peso order to use the beach chairs and umbrella. It is nice to have access to the washrooms...
