"The Schooner is the grandaddy of Tofino restaurants, having been here since the laye 1970's (that I can remember). Always considered one of the best restaurants in Tofino, the Schooner has changed little with the years. Service is very good if somewhat off putting to lovers of "informal" restaurants (no "Hi! my name's Bob!" here). The food is classic, hearty local seafood in the main, extremely well prepared and very fresh. In high season, reservations seem to be a must. Try the stuffed local halibut, fresh Dungeness crab or fresh salmon, sockeye in season in July/early August."

"Dreamy Location pure coziness. I honestly don’t have anything to criticize. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the beautiful beach view and breathtaking sunsets at Cox Bay. I especially loved the restaurant which has the best view on the ocean and serves delicious food! The only thing I noticed that could be improved is that the gym could be a bit cleaner and that it would be great if towels or cups would be provided."

"Really great, yummy food with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Everything is always cooked really well everytime I go and the I love the protein veg bread ratio on the sandwiches. And they have some of the best mac and cheese dishes I've ever had it was so good that I had leftovers for breakfast the next morning and it was cold because I didn't have a microwave but I still loved every bite."

"I had the Hammerhead (secret flavour but very delicious and the Kookville (crunchy vanilla in a waffle cup. Good quality for the cheap price and huge portion of ice cream! Cute spot with cozy vibes, definitely stop for a little treat ;"

"Great restaurant and great food, I do wish there were a bit more seating space. Lineup can be long at times due to limited seating. However, the food was really good, poke bowl was excellent and the Tuna burger was delicious!"
