We loved everything about Schooner's! We didn't have a reservation but they made us feel comfortable and found a lovely cosy seat for us. Very warm hospitality....

"The menu is primarily glutenfree. Most meals are cooked from scratch onsite. The serving staff are very knowledgeable about Coeliac and assured me of the safety of what I ordered. It is pricey but portions are good sized and meant for sharing. Also the food is over the top delicious!"

"This was a great culinary experience in all aspekten. first we had a very friendly and warm waitress. it was very helpful with the recommendations and suggestions that improved our experience. second, eating was fantastic. the quality and taste of everything was top-notch. the order of the spot prawns with garlic brot was a great choice. we also had the tuna mexicano that had some really unique but amazing aromen. for the escape we shared the smoked wild jump salmon. again it was fantastic and I didn't complain about it at all. we decided to try this dessert and had a slice of the basque cheese cake. it wasn't too sweet, what I prefer. the prices here can be at the upper end, but they are absolutely worth it. destined a reservation well in advance."

"Very, very tasty salads. I had the pachamama bowl with beets and faro. Just awesome. Salmon kale salad also good, and bean burgers. Even the house salad on the bean burger was good. Excellent service, great patio."

"We went to dinner back to sobo (we went two years ago. I called in advance to make a reservation and spoke to the owner/cook to see if teller could be modified for vegans. she said sure (they did the last time. the menu changes. we had this beautiful dish minus the yogurt make it vegan. it was divine! yam with charred wild rice, kale, kicherbsen and slightly spicy sauce. they even had a vegan cookie; . highly recommended."

"Unbelievable steam buns! The texture of the bun was perfect and the flavours of the ingredients inside were 10/10. We tried the Pork Belly and Tuna buns but they have a few other flavours, plus curries and Noodle bowls, too. Definitely check this place out, just one block down from the main street and way less busy!"
