"The ambiance, in my opinion, is annoying and cluttered with every retro trendy gimmick possible. I was not exci9ted to learn the restaurant was in this hotel that seems so out of place in tofino that it 's mind boggling. I guess it 's fun ? anyway.... the restaurant serves amaZing food. it 's funny how a good meal can change your mind about a place! I would def go back for the food (not for the decor or insane ambiance) I think families and kids would love the atmosphere more-so than myself. Excellent service food!"

"This was a great culinary experience in all aspekten. first we had a very friendly and warm waitress. it was very helpful with the recommendations and suggestions that improved our experience. second, eating was fantastic. the quality and taste of everything was top-notch. the order of the spot prawns with garlic brot was a great choice. we also had the tuna mexicano that had some really unique but amazing aromen. for the escape we shared the smoked wild jump salmon. again it was fantastic and I didn't complain about it at all. we decided to try this dessert and had a slice of the basque cheese cake. it wasn't too sweet, what I prefer. the prices here can be at the upper end, but they are absolutely worth it. destined a reservation well in advance."

"We went to dinner back to sobo (we went two years ago. I called in advance to make a reservation and spoke to the owner/cook to see if teller could be modified for vegans. she said sure (they did the last time. the menu changes. we had this beautiful dish minus the yogurt make it vegan. it was divine! yam with charred wild rice, kale, kicherbsen and slightly spicy sauce. they even had a vegan cookie; . highly recommended."

"Unbelievable steam buns! The texture of the bun was perfect and the flavours of the ingredients inside were 10/10. We tried the Pork Belly and Tuna buns but they have a few other flavours, plus curries and Noodle bowls, too. Definitely check this place out, just one block down from the main street and way less busy!"
