"This working bakery/café is the essence of some of the things I love most about Spain…its stylish simplicity leads you to a wonderful selection of pastries, breads, and freshly cooked lunch offerings, which you can eat on-site in its tiny indoor/open air patio. The building itself feels like it’s been there forever, but in a good way…note, that this café might be tricky to find, but it’s only about a 5 minute walk from the centre of Toledo. Back to the fare on offer – visited here three times in the space of as many weeks for coffee, cakes galore, and lunch…every time a perfect experience. This café sets the bar for all others…next time I’m in Toledo, this will be my first port of call."

"A traditional looking spanish tavern, but with so exquisite and modern recipes. We stayed in Madrid for a week, but didn't find anything like this. The secret recipe and the green country chicken curry were both full of savour and fresh ingredients and had a real fine dining touch, with purees and confits to get the best flavour. Also, the lemon pie had the perfect taste, not too sweet and perfect for a hot day. The waiter was very attentive and he even explained to us what each dish consisted of and how it was created. Really felt like fine dining, although the place was not thought that way. Clearly, our most memorable and exceptional food experience throughout the holiday."

"No doubt the best store I've ever visited. all of the mazapanes, ice cream, chocolates, sweets, etc. are made by them artisanally. the lady who attended us is a charm, very kind, close, etc. we buy a liqueur of mazapan, a set of mazapan and an ice cream. He gave us a bottle of water and literally gave me a lot of free ice cream. It has nothing to do with any ice cream you've tasted, or even Italian. They are 100% homemade and they know perfectly how to do it. many of them mix with sweet wine, daiel cat or aerosol liqueurs. I tried the green apple and it seemed like it gave a bite to an apple, the idem pineapple, the idem mango and the best I've ever tasted. very good experience, very friendly, close and familiar. The shop is very well decorated and is very pretty as it has been distributed and as I always say I will return."
