I ordered a vegetarian gyro sandwich but requested to have the sauce replaced with hummus to make it vegan. It was a bit too salty for my liking, but it had a unique flavor. This review was updated on June 7, 2022. View all feedback.
This place is kinda of hidden but an absolute little gem. Great food at reasonable prices and a cozy fun little atmosphere. I'd love to see the upstairs area when it's open as
Never a bad decision to eat here. I always forget that the dt pburg isn't a 1 off. Out of the way, there is less of a line for food or wait to sit.
Excellent overall experience! The portions were large and delicious, the staff were fast and friendly, and the dining area looked cool. The price was cheaper than other lunch spots that we considered, and we were all very surprised by how much food we received per dollar.
Got the falafel salad and a juice, both were super yummy!!! restaurant was clean and spacious ?
I wrote an email to the company and am posting it here.On July 27, I went to your Cricket West location to order lunch. I am a regular customer and like the food, however, I find it difficult to get the items I want (meat grape leaves) because half of the time you don’t have any. Also, your store hours are not customer friendly and kind of send the message that “we don’t really care if we get your business because we close before most of you even get off of work.” I understand shorter hours during COVID but that’s not an issue anymore.Last Thursday, there were five people in front of me and I waited 15 minutes just to have my order taken. After my order was taken I waited fifteen minutes before asking how much longer it would be and was told it would not be much longer. Five minutes later I checked again because there were several to-go orders sitting on the counter. None of them were mine so one of the girls checked with the kitchen and without even looking at me, said that it was still not ready and acted as if I was annoying her. There were several people standing around the restaurant and were getting irritated because it was taking so long and they needed to get back to work. A lady standing next to me said she was afraid that she would have to get a refund because she couldn’t wait much longer. Thirty minutes after my order was taken and 45 minutes after I arrived, I went I up to the counter and there were 2 girls standing there. I told them that I want my food or I want my $28 dollars back. They both just stared at me and when another customer came to the counter they both immediately turned to this lady and ignored me completely. So, I had to repeat my question again. Finally, one of them checked with the kitchen and said they would just refund my money because “they were in the process of making new grape leaves!” This process, if done properly, takes way more time than what a customer should be asked to wait. So, I spent 45 minutes waiting around for grape leaves and no one thought it was necessary to tell me you didn’t have any to begin with! I would have been less angry if someone told me when I ordered OR when I was repeatedly checking the status of my order that there weren’t any! And if I hadn’t asked for my money back I would have continued to wait and would have gotten chewy, half-cooked grape leaves like I did the last time that I had to go home and finish cooking myself. It is a shame that the food is good because the service and the hours of operation are so bad that eventually people will become tired of it. Especially since Beirut is just around the corner and just as good. After I left, I called the Perrysburg location to make a complaint but of course, the recording said that they were too busy and to go online to order or call back another time! Again, the message-“we don’t care about our customers.”
