"Named by MANY in a casual facebook neighborhood group for Best burger in west Seneca, I thought I would give them a try. AMAZING! Loaded with bacon cooked the way I requested, the beef is nicely seasoned, fresh, not boxed burgers, and GENEROUS portions! Roll was great and the secret sauce is out of this world and unique! I will definitely order from here again and maybe try some sides as well"

"I was in the area and came upon this restaurant and bar. Started out with a big ditch hayburner ipa to quench my thirst. Pretty decent menu. They're known for seafood however Im trying a classic beef on weck. Cooked rare with horseradish on the side. As a longtime buffalo resident I was not excited with the bun on my sandwich it was kimmelwick with the caraway seed and salt on top. But it was a soft bun almost like a supermarket bought bun. That being said it was fine just not what I expected. The beef was tender if a tad overdone for my taste. My server showed me the sliced beef before it was made into a sandwich but the kitchen left it in the au jus a little too long but tender and tasty just the same. French fries were good not greasy and went well with the malt vinegar I requested. A couple of dill slices on the side were delicious. I will return to see how the seafood dishes are prepared."

"Sorry to say that John 's has faltered in the past couple years. Used to be the best and my go to place, but they 've raised prices beyond their competition, the subs are significantly smaller than before, and they now add a surcharge if you use a credit card. We now patronize the other local places that are trying harder to provide good value."
