This restaurant is a great place for a proper pub experience with a lovely welcome, good beer, and delicious food. Unfortunately, it can be slightly spoiled by the pretentious, loud crowd from Sevenoaks in their Range Rovers who have recently discovered it - but that's just the nature of Bank Holidays. It is unfortunate that my experience at this restaurant was marred by the addition of a discretionary 10% service charge without prior consent. The food was good, the beer was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was reasonable.
