We have visited this restaurant a few times now for coffee and cake. The homemade cakes are excellent value for money, usually costing between £1-£1.50. My daughter had a large baguette, which was reasonably priced, and we also enjoyed the apple juice that is made on-site. I was also seduced by the ad in the free magazine. Went there at approx. 2pm today.I did not find the ramp mentioned in other reveiws .Sat in chair at top of steps for ten minutes while a young lady walked out with rubbish bags and then walked back , ignoring me both times. not widely known that this great caffe is open for publicity. good eating friendly staff. so close to kents renowned research gardens.
