We’ve enjoyed the Poet for many years and the food has always been outstanding. Last night’s meal was ok but sadly fell short of the standard we’ve become used to. The bread didn’t seem that fresh, and my duck was slightly overdone. Our main courses took a little too long to come out. An extremely welcoming and helpful team who saw to it that our lunchtime experience was both enjoyable and very tasty. All the dishes we ordered were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. A thoroughly positive lunch experience that we would recommend to anyone.

Second time I have had the fortune to dine at the poet every thing was perfect
Food, service, ambiance spot on. Michelin have it 100% with their recommendation. I hope fully recognised in the near future. We will recommend to all and will definitely be visiting again. Many thanks to all.
