Tooborac Pie Shop

On the way to Echuca, suddenly came across this pie shop pulled over quickly. Worth it! Quick service, friendly and delicious pies. They were BIG, HIGH full of flavor. And they sell their own beer which was lovely. Sat in the sun outside our quick lunch was delightful. Hungry? Stop here. Highly recommended

Went there with friends for lunch. Sat out in the beer garden out the back and had a pie and tooborak beer. Very pleasant day. Pie was nice but a little over priced $10)

We stopped on a cold rainy day, for a needed Pie for lunch. What a surprise, to have one of The Best pies,,,,,ever !! Big choice of home made pies. Excellent service, we ate in their rear garden. Pies hot, very well filled and extremely tasty.

On a cold winter's day, this was a fabulous spot to stop during our Victorian road trip. The pies were hot and delicious and not your everyday fillings. We enjoyed the chicken, leek and bacon; the beef and ale, and also the rabbit ramble. Chunky and full of flavour. Yum!

Tooborac is one of those towns you label as, Blink and you will miss it ... but surprisingly there are three eateries along the main road. This is one of them... it 's not like a traditional bakery. There is a pie warmer that has items on offer, and then there is a freezer so you can buy products to take home. There are cold beers on offer if you want to stop and use the alfresco seating...or you can choose a soft drink. Other than it 's location being unique because it 's literally on a road to somewhere else, there is no real reason to stop here... well until you try their products. I will say they are not cheap... their pies were almost $10, but they are a fair size for that too. I took home three of their sausage rolls ... two for my freezer and one for dinner that night. It was really yummy! I am quite glad I have a couple in my freezer now. At the end of the day, if we are supporting small businesses in regional Victoria seriously... this needs to go on your list of places to try !
