OK so here's the deal: basic food - and not the best you will find - probably overshadowed in TOODYAY. "+" - friendly staff - quiet - not expensive."-" limited menu, poor decor - a bit fearing with dolls for sale in window and $25 paintings by locals - the frame is worth $20 of that! not the quickest service - cakes are good but expensive - take away coffee is value. I've never had anything but friendly service and yummy food when I've stopped into our local tearooms - Wendouree are the oldest continually serving tearooms in the area, their recent repaint looks lovely. And it's up the quieter end of town so you can sit and relax, inside or out.
Morning tea with the family. Had a coffee and scones, scones were nice but cream over whipped and coffee very weak. Perth prices but budget country food. Other customers next door smoking when no smoking signs clearly displayed. Friendly staff, however the quality of food needs to be revised.
Me & my partner try to get in to the Wendouree Tea Rooms at least once a month for lunch, very relaxed atmosphere, great food.

This little café has been here forever it seems. Great spot for a toasted sandwich and a cuppa or such. Because there's seating out the front and inside, it's ideal for wheelchair bound people or families with prams etc Food is always good and nice people who serve.
