We had dinner here twice and lunch here on one occasion , over the new year break , great country pub, loved the food , and staff very friendly and accomodating...

"We are happy to have found the windmill café for lunch today. our family is vegan and one of us is also gluten-free. we arrived shortly before the menu change from breakfast to lunch and the staff was very friendly and accommodating so that we can order both breakfast and lunch menus. two of us had the vegan breakfast, another had the vegan bowl and another had the vegan package (glutenfree.) all our meals were a good portion size, gourmet quality, inexpensive and delicious! we wanted to take away our meal times that they packed in environmentally friendly cardboard, including the sauce container and Utensils-very impressive. we highly recommend the windmill caffe for their exceptional food and service. it is not easy to find good quality vegan and gluten-free options while on the road, the more environmentally conscious. if we could give 5 stars, we would (only available for fully vegan restaurants)."

"Best calamari and fish n chips that I had in a long time. oil, which was used to cook the food, was fresh. had to wait for my food because it was so busy, but definitiw was worth waiting. the engraving was super and hand-cut chips were also impressive. highly recommended!"
