here in summer with a group of friends in the terrace! they had picnic benches laid in a safe distance from each other, and lighter hanging from the trees very beautiful vibes. eating was decision and big enough to share! service was also very good. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mercatto:
We had lunch here. A bit crowded as it’s located next to a hospital. Service was slow and despite having open tables and being only 10 min early, I asked 3 times to be seated. Pizza quality was good but their Negroni was a bit disappointing! View all feedback.
Took the gnocchi very very good and service is awesome
I wasn't aware that the tables under the trees were Mercatto's property. There are no signs for that. One of the staffs asked me if I would like something which I responded that I just wanted to have a sit. In a somewhat rude way he said that it wasn't allowed. I took a sit on the adjacent low wall at the entrance of PMDT facing the trees. He came back in the same rude way and asked me to move my feet to the other side of the wall.Very inadequate. For sure a reflection of these days. It's not been easy for this industry. Politeness would help them to get back on track. Who learns to navigate this, will survive and thrive.I hope Mercatto survives. It's a matter of fine tuning and re-education.Good luck guys!
A group of 6 of us dined outdoors. Service was fast. I ordered the carbonara which was ok. Portions were pretty small though. Overall, not horrible but wouldn’t be my first choice for Italian.
The communication between management and personal could be a bit more discrete.
