Alice's Place - Toronto Canada

What Ryan J likes about Alice's Place:
We were on a Cabbagetown beer crawl and this popped up on Yelp as a place to check out. I'd never heard of it before it's fairly non descript.. It's quite interesting to check out a place that's so poorly reviewed. For the record, I had no problems with it.. The bartender gave us our beer with a smile, and the price was right too. What Denny H doesn't like about Alice's Place:
Was having a conversation with two people at the bar. The owner, Alice, shut down the topic of conversation because we were exploring a disagreement and she did not want any dissension. NOT at all her place to stop people from talking just because there is a moment that is not the most money-making for her. Also, she offer shots to customers, free. This is against the law.
